Depending on how you feel about dolls and crochet, you will love this kooky, colorful doll or not so much… Making this doll in subdued colors would give an entirely different look. I’m not sure what I think about the Crochet Lolita Doll but I know someone will be happy to make one for a happy little girl. Added to Crochet Patterns and Doll-Making

With the wintry weather we’re still getting here on the East Coast, an Infinity Scarf is looking like an excellent idea! Many people are selling variations of an Infinity or Eternity Scarf online. Here’s two of my favorites

These Crochet Fingerless Gloves have a retro look and are very useful, too. So often, I find myself pulling off my gloves to do something in cold weather. Great gift idea. Added to Crochet Patterns

Oh, this is so interesting! Where to begin? Well, from the photo, you can see how pretty this lighted ball looks at night. It is crocheted from twine, and… crocheted on a balloon for the shape! How cool is that! Added to Crochet Patterns

Searching for an out-of-print pattern? Good news -the Leisure Arts Patterns Library is now online. Each pattern costs a few dollars and can be downloaded instantly. The selection is huge for all types of crafts – Crochet, Knitting, Needlework, Sewing, Plastic Canvas and more. The patterns are pdf files and sized to print on letter-size paper. I know many people will love their plasic canvas dollhouse furniture. It’s adorable. The baby crochet sets are also very nice. This is a great resource for crafters, so happy browsing!

Finally finished a little project of mine – I’ve gathered links to dozens of charities that accept crochet, knitted, sewn or quilted items. The causes and uses for the items are varied. Check the requirements for the group before donating. I hope this will be a helpful resource to help crafters give back to the community.

When you’re teaching kids to crochet, they crochet chains. Lots of chains. That can get boring fast. Let’s make Crochet Mosaics instead. Added to Crochet and Kids Crafts
