When I’m finishing a new crochet or knitted piece, especially a new stitch or motif that I’ve worked so hard to master, I love to finish it off with a decorative border. It hides the edges and makes it more durable, but sometimes, that’s the most frustrating part of the project. And it sits, lonely and unfinished in a project bag.
